A Hub for Learning

In the pursuit of excellence at Tarleton Academy our aim is to embrace innovative and challenging developments in education.  This is a path to be travelled by teachers and students alike.

The heads of the core departments co-ordinate professional developments within the Learning and Teaching sphere. We utilise in-house expertise and form partnerships with other schools and education providers.  These include the Lancashire school network and Edge Hill University.

We believe that classrooms should be a hub of excellence, demonstrating collaborative learning, creativity, independence and challenge – all within a secure environment.
