'Tarleton Academy Community'
Students and staff at Tarleton Academy are proud to be part of our school community. We work together each year to integrate the school within the local community as well as the national and global communities. This academic year, we want to be even better at supporting our school community, our local community and the wider community. We believe that by doing so, we will have a better understanding of the world around us, whilst developing our own self-esteem and sense of social responsibility.
Tarleton Academy is fortunate in being supported by International Aid Trust, and our relationship with this charity provides the opportunity to reach out to communities in need.
Our students are always ready to help in whatever way they can, and we are currently planning fundraisers for this school year.
At Tarleton Academy we work closely with our school charity, International Aid Trust as well as other causes throughout the year. Some of the charity events that will be taking place this year include:

One way in which we strive to be a cornerstone for the local community is by providing opportunities for wider engagement through our Extended Services programme. We do this by providing the use of our facilities for community groups at evenings and weekends, coupled with our own programmes that are set up and run by Tarleton Academy.
We aim to offer activities and facilities to many people from all walks of life.
Tarleton Academy in the Press
At Tarleton Academy we have strong links with local newspapers. We are regularly featured in the Lancashire Evening Post, Southport Visitor, Ormskirk Advertiser and The Champion. We want the local community to feel involved and included with life in the school and through the newspapers we aim to inform you of all the wonderful events that take place in our school.
Keep your eyes peeled for the latest news.
