Latin Club

A lunch time opportunity to learn Latin.

The Latin group follows the Cambridge Latin Course which aims at widening the history curriculum in school and in developing students' learning and linguistic skills. Students are able to study  both ancient Roman history whilst at the same time learn basic Latin language. The lessons involve I.T. and paper-based learning activities which centre on Ancient Roman characters from Pompeii. After having completed certain units students are able to earn University of Cambridge certificates.

Students need to be good organisers, self-motivated and independent learners as they need to practice away from class and to make use of the interactive and research resources available.
